	About Sioux Center
	Sioux Center is located beautiful Northwest Iowa and is within an hour of Sioux City, IA and Sioux Falls, SD. The Sioux Center area has excellent grade schools, high schools and colleges. 	Position:            Machinist Department:      Manufacturing Reports to:        Manufacturing Supervisor Work Week:       Monday – Friday 7:00am – 4:30pm Overview: Engages in machining precision metal products by performing the following duties. Responsibilities: · Reads blueprints or work orders for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances and tooling instructions. · Able to select the correct tool’s and settings necessary to produce, manufactured goods within SAC’s quality standard. · Able to work in various areas of machining. · Have working knowledge of CNC programming and processes · Able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner to superiors and peers regarding, safety, quality and production. · Maintains time and production records. · Able to safely drive a forklift and has passed the mandatory SAC fork lift training. · Assist in the training of less experienced Machinists. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years CNC machining experience using lathes and mills, experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerance, and using tooling and fixtures on various machines. Must be a self starter with the ability to multi-task, use inspection gauges and follow oral and written instructions. Click here to apply!
